We're opening up our office to the greater Seattle community for a few reasons.
If you'd like to request a visit or use of our office space, just send us an e-mail. Sometimes things get busy, no guarantees, but we'll try!
To request a time, just e-mail us at info@binomial.info with "Office Hours" in the subject line. Tell us some times that work for you, why you're using the space, and what equipment/room space you'll need.
Looking forward to meeting more people and supporting the lovely Seattle VR community. :)
Recently we put together a free microcontroller workshop for our community.
Everyone got an Nano, breadboard, and some parts they could take home. We started with a very brief presentation and worksheet, then focused on getting everyone to build a functioning basic circuit, and then let people play from there with our help!
The focus was on showing this work is not that hard, get people to start building things fast, and inspiring people to explore it more.
The lovely women at Ada Academy were kind enough to let us use their space for the workshop.
You can find the presentation slides here and the accompanying worksheet here.
